The Esperance Soccer Association, a vibrant community organisation dedicated to promoting youth soccer in our region, are requesting your assistance. I am thrilled to share some of our achievements from the past year, which demonstrate the impact of our programs and the potential for growth with your support. In 2023, we saw tremendous success with 181 junior registered players, reflecting the strong interest and engagement in soccer within our community. Additionally, we proudly sent four teams to the Country Week tournament, marking a significant milestone as we introduced our first girls' team to the competition. Notably, our under 13 boys' team clinched victory in their division, showcasing the talent and dedication of our young athletes.

Building on this momentum, we are excited to report that this year has seen a surge in new player registrations to 298 players, a substantial increase of new registrations joining our ranks. Particularly encouraging is the increase in female participation, which we attribute in part to the inspiring success of the Matildas in the World Cup. As we continue to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment, we are thrilled to offer a range of divisions to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels, including mixed and gender-specific categories.
