2022 - Registrations, assistance and important dates - Update 21/03/2022

Registrations:

Registration for the 2022 Soccer Season are now officially open. Please register via - PRESS HERE - SOCCER REGISTRATION - LINK. Prompt and early registartion (before April 15) will assist the club with organising games, teams and equipment (Note: if any Juniors are using Kidsport vouchers to pay their fees, you must obtain the voucher code before registering as you will need this to be entered into the system for payment.)
Assistance with KIDSPORTS registartion is available this Thursday the 24th fro 18:30-20:00 @ the soccer shed

Dates & Times:

The season:

The official season opening has been set at Sunday the 8th of May with play times being as follows:
- 5-6 year olds: from 12:00 - 13:00
- 7-8 year olds: from 12:00 - 13:00
- 9-11 year olds: from 12:00 - 13:00
- 12-14 year olds from 13:30 - 14:30
- Seniors - (at this stage the seniors league will be players 15 and up due to insufficient numbers) from 16:00 - 18:00

Age group is determined by age the payer will be in the year. Example. If you turn 9 thuis year, you will play in the 9-11 league.

(Times and leagues are subject to change pending membership numbers - changes usually happen after the second or thrid weekend of playing in order to even out the teams' talent. As always, the club endeavours to create a competitive, fun atmosphere. The season's end date is not yet finalised since the club is considering extending the season.)

Optional training for all age groups (except seniors) will be on Wednesdays once the season starts. Times yet to be decided and confirmed.

The club will endeavour to organise extra tournaments and special training sessions during the long weekends.

Pre-season training:

For ages 9 - 14

There is training on offer every Wednesday from 4 till 5.30 pm. All ages 9 till/including 14's are welcome. Training is likely to be split into two age groups.

The training sesssion will serve as a recruitment medium to select players for the ANZAC CUP DETAILS LINK - PRESS HERE - If interested - Register Here, by messaging Name & age of player, contact email address and mobile phone number. Please make sure you are available for the ANZAC long weekend.

GOLD COIN donation would be appreciated

Donationms will go towadr the Club's expenses.

Seniors 15+

Training is already available every Thursday fro 18:30 till 20:00. Come and take a look, everyone is welcome. There are all levels of players, even some who have never kicked a football before.
Futsal on Wednesday 19:00 - 20.30 free for registered players, $10 for non registered players from May 14
Sunday league games, May to September, not available to non registered players - 7 a side across pitch season (pending numbers but looking promising - aiming for 4 teams)

Recruitment:

There are still some open positions on the club's committee and we always welcome coaching assistance.
- Ladies competition coordinator
- Referee coordinator (will be supported by former ref coordinator)
- Coaching coordinator
- Volunteer manager
- Media (including social) coordinator

The club is particularly interested in filling the coordinators position since they are pivotal with communications.

The committee would also like to receive any interest regarding "general committee members". These members don't necessarily have a specific role but would endeavour to attend the club's meeting and assist with generating ideas, solutions or temporary assistance where possible.
